Luis Rafael Pellerano attends the inauguration of the “Primer Picazo” in the Port of Barahona.

On October 20th, President Luis Abinader, participated in the “Primer Picazo” to launch the expansion and remodeling project of the Industrial Port of Barahona, which will be executed with the help of an investment of $30 million dollars by Belfond Enterprise and Grupo Estrella.

For more than 7 years, the PELLERANO NADAL team has been providing legal services to Belfond Enterprise in order to open a path to the Commercial Operations which include the exportation of high purity carbonate. This project marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Dominican Republic and a new opportunity for the development of the Barahona Province.

With this new Barahona Port project the country seeks to open the door to new opportunities of growth. This project will help the province re-launch its social and economic projects while creating a new source of employment of quality in this area of the country.
