Ricardo Pellerano Nadal is a Senior Advisor with over a decade of experience as a lawyer, banker and business advisor, negotiating and advising on multiple cross-border financings, corporate transactions and business development across Latin America.

Ricardo advises clients on corporate, banking and finance, capital markets, M&A, and project and business development matters. He is also an advisor to the Firm’s management on administrative, financial, marketing, business development and strategic planning matters.
Throughout his career, he has participated in transactions in the aggregate of over US$20 billion through bond issuances, syndicated and bilateral loans, private placements, project finance and other types of structured transactions. He has also advised clients on multiple cross border corporate deals, particularly sell-side and buy-side M&A, on an aggregate transaction value of over US$3 billion.
Ricardo also has experience as an entrepreneur and business executive, having co-founded other business ventures in different industries. Prior to joining the Firm, Ricardo was the Institutional Funding Manager at one of the leading banks in Central America. In that capacity, he was part of the Financial Institutions and Treasury & Investments team, which managed the relationships with international financial institutions and raised institutional funding through various types of debt financings, as well as negotiating other types of financial products and services.
Before transitioning into banking, he accumulated valuable experience as a lawyer at prominent law firms in Washington, D.C., and the Dominican Republic. During this phase of his career, he played a crucial role in assisting senior executives and management teams in establishing their companies' operations in the Dominican Republic and other Central American nations. His legal expertise enabled him to provide comprehensive support, including navigating regulatory frameworks, facilitating compliance, and offering strategic advice tailored to the unique challenges of operating in these jurisdictions.
Moreover, Ricardo provided vital assistance to companies in their business development endeavors, helping them forge connections with potential partners, clients, and public entities. His collaborative approach and adept negotiation skills facilitated fruitful engagements, contributing to the expansion and success of his clients' businesses in the region. This blend of legal acumen and business development prowess underscores his ability to deliver holistic solutions to complex challenges faced by companies operating in Central America and the Caribbean.

Ricardo received his Bachelor of Laws from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and completed his LLM in General Legal Studies, with focus on international business, financial law and law firm management, from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. He has also participated in financial law, business and leadership certificate programs from the London School of Economics, Harvard Business School and IESA Panamá.
