Sekira has represented various national and international companies with operations in the Dominican Republic, in all labor aspects covering the process of hiring employees (preparation of employment contracts for definite and indefinite time and with face-to-face and distance mode), the regulation of the same before the competent bodies, the regulation of companies in their capacity as employers, as well as guidance to companies on their rights and obligations as well as those of their employees. In general, Sekira advises companies in all their employee-related decisions to mitigate possible risks, convictions and objections before labor courts and competent authorities.

In the area of administrative law, Sekira has represented international companies in contentious-tax appeals against the Dominican State, specifically the General Directorate of Taxes (DGII), whose amount involved is RD$900,000,000.00 equivalent to US$15,254,237. Sekira has also collaborated with legal assistance to companies in contentious-administrative and tax appeals against the Dominican State.

In the area of competition law, Sekira has represented a well-known international company in the pharmaceutical market, collaborating with all the information required by the National Commission for the Defense of Competition (Pro-Competencia) to continue with its investigation regarding some distributors of such company. Likewise, in competition law, Sekira has collaborated with the training of the company's employees, so that they comply with the provisions governing the matter.

In restructuring and liquidation proceedings, Sekira has represented several creditors to have their claims recognized by the competent court and to obtain their payment.

In 2021, Sekira was recommended as a litigation lawyer by The Legal 500 Latin America.
